Privacy Policy

    Last updated: July 2026

The short version: Your content is private. You own it. We don't sell data or show ads.

    Who We Are

Wall Journal is operated by Ayrnova Digital Limited, a company registered in Scotland under company number SC896718, which is the data controller for the personal information described below.

Registered office: Clyde Offices, 2nd Floor, 48 West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1BP, United Kingdom. Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZC205227.

    What We Collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide the service:

    • Account information: Email address for authentication and communication.
    • Your content: Journal entries, photos, and settings you create.
    • Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We don't store card details.
    • Basic analytics: Anonymous usage data to improve the service (e.g., feature usage, crash reports).

    What We Don't Do

    • We don't sell your data to anyone.
    • We don't show you advertisements.
    • We don't share your content with third parties.
    • We don't use your content to train AI models.
    • We don't track you across other websites.

    How We Protect Your Data

    • All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
    • We use secure, reputable cloud infrastructure.
    • Access to user data is strictly limited to essential personnel.
    • We regularly review our security practices.

    Your Rights

You have control over your data:

    • Export: Download all your data at any time from Settings.
    • Delete: Remove individual entries or your entire account. Deleting your account erases your profile and the memories in the space(s) you own; memories you added to other people's shared spaces stay with those spaces (attributed to you), as they're controlled by the space's owner.
    • Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you.
    • Correction: Update or correct your information.

    Data Retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, it is scheduled for a 30-day grace period during which you can cancel and restore everything; after that we permanently remove your profile and the content in the space(s) you own. Memories you contributed to other people's shared spaces remain with those spaces. Some data may be retained longer for legal or business purposes (e.g., billing records).

    Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for the service to function (authentication, preferences). We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.
