Simply put: You own everything you create in Wall Journal. We don't.
All journal entries, photos, notes, and other content you create belong entirely to you. Wall Journal claims no ownership, license, or rights to your personal content beyond what's necessary to provide the service.
To display your content back to you and store it securely, we need a limited technical license. This means:
This license is solely for operating the service. We don't use your content for any other purpose.
The Wall Journal application, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Ayrnova Digital Limited. Your subscription gives you personal use of the service but not rights to our intellectual property.
Wall Journal lets you share a space with others (for example, a family). Memories you add to a shared space become part of that space and are controlled by the space's owner. If you leave the space or delete your account, the memories you contributed remain part of that space — leaving doesn't remove them — though they stay attributed to you. Only the space's owner can remove that space's content. If you own a space with other members, you'll be asked to transfer ownership (or remove the other members) before you can delete your account, so their memories aren't lost.
When you ask to delete your account, it's scheduled for a 30-day grace period — you can cancel any time during it and nothing is lost. After that, we permanently remove your profile and the memories in the space(s) you own; memories you contributed to other people's shared spaces remain with those spaces. We recommend requesting a copy of your data before the grace period ends. Some records may be kept longer where the law requires (e.g., billing records). Once removed, content cannot be recovered.
